Giftze Lets You Send a Gift Anywhere in the UAE Without Ever Asking for an Address
The UAE gifting app pairs shareable wishlists with private delivery: choose a person, a phone number or a social handle, pay, and the recipient decides where the gift goes.

Anyone who has tried to send a present to a friend in Dubai or Abu Dhabi knows the awkward part. It is not choosing the gift. It is the message that follows: what is your address, which building, which flat, is someone home. Giftze, a UAE gifting app and website, removes that exchange altogether. The sender picks a gift and a person. The recipient decides where it goes. Neither side ever has to type an address into a chat.
The idea is simple enough to explain in one sentence, which is how Giftze puts it on its own front page: make a wish, get the gift you actually want. Behind that sentence sits a wishlist you can share, a shop of gift-ready products from selected UAE stores, and a delivery flow built around privacy.
How does Giftze work?
Giftze describes itself as a gifting and appreciation platform rather than a marketplace. Every gift is a product from a store, paid for through Giftze and delivered to the recipient. The company is explicit that it is not a payment, money-transfer or escrow service, and that Giftze gift cards and Giftze Cash can only be spent on Giftze orders.
For the person sending, the how it works page sets out three steps. First, browse stores and categories, from flowers and chocolate to fragrance, jewellery and the latest gadgets, or open a wishlist someone shared with you. Second, choose a person on Giftze, or simply enter their phone number or their Instagram, Snapchat or TikTok handle. They do not need an account yet. Third, pay. The recipient confirms where the gift should be delivered from the addresses they have saved, or adds one before it ships. The sender sees only that delivery details are confirmed.
For the person receiving, the app is a wishlist first. You add what you would genuinely like, share the list with the people who matter, and let them choose. Privacy and visibility settings decide who can see your lists and who is allowed to send you something.
Why private gifting matters in the UAE
The UAE is a country of shared flats, compound villas, office deliveries and friends who moved here last month. Asking for an address is not only clumsy, it is a small act of trust that many people would rather not perform with a colleague, a client or a new acquaintance. Giftze's private gifting promise is that the gift is shared and the address is not. Delivery details are used only to complete the delivery, and the buyer never sees them.
That design also opens the door to a kind of gifting that was previously hard to do at all: sending something to a person you know only through a social handle. A creator you follow, a colleague in another emirate, a cousin whose new flat you have never visited. Giftze lets the gift find them, and lets them stay in control of where it lands.
What can you send, and how fast?
The catalogue is organised the way people actually shop for presents: gift sets and hampers, flowers, chocolate and treats, jewellery and watches, beauty and fragrance, fashion and accessories, with seasonal edits layered on top. At the end of October the shop front is carrying Diwali hampers and chocolate trays alongside the usual perfume, bags and phones, and the Giftze Edit is already looking ahead to UAE National Day on 2 December, Christmas and the Dubai Shopping Festival.
Delivery is within the UAE. Standard delivery is the default; Express, with a delivery time measured in hours, is offered for eligible gifts in selected cities; and Giftze Premium adds luxury presentation and a printed card for the moments that deserve it. The total at checkout shows the items, delivery, VAT and any service fee before you pay, so there are no surprises on the payment page.
For UAE stores and brands
Giftze is also a channel for retailers. The partner programme gives a store its own page on giftze.com and in the app, sends paid orders through with the details needed to pack and dispatch, and handles the private delivery conversation with the recipient. New and changed products are reviewed before they go live, and commission and payout terms are agreed in each partner agreement. For a brand whose products suit real gifting occasions, the pitch is that demand already exists: shoppers arrive with a wishlist and a person in mind.
Where to get it
Giftze is free on the App Store and on Google Play, and the website at giftze.com lets a visitor browse the shop, open a shared wishlist and send a gift without installing anything. The current version, 6.2.0, reached the App Store on 21 October.
Gifting in the Gulf has always been generous. What it has rarely been is easy. With the festive season approaching, Giftze's bet is that the easiest gift to give is the one someone has already asked for, delivered without anyone having to ask where they live.
